My heart ripped out, we said goodbye
As Storm, our cat, has lain to die,
The night of Eid, hit by a car
She ventured out so very far
My head it spins, too young to go
Her crazy antics are no more
Her body gone; her soul is near
She left us but she is still here

Thank you so much for your kind messages ❤️ We buried her at our local farm the day after. If you are the praying type, recite a little prayer for her and us.

As Muslims say when they hear of a calamity, to Him we belong and to Him we shall return…
Rest in peace Storm, inshaAllah we’ll meet again…
Peace and love,
Sidra
