Sidra Ansari is a teacher, author and freelance writer.

Over the last few years she has written nine books for Ladybird Education, and hopes that she will be writing book ten soon as she sees children’s educational books as a perfect marriage of both the teaching and writing world. 

In 2023 she won for The Week Junior Audiobook of the Year Award for her audiobook, The Natural Wonders of the World (see pic above!).

Sidra Ansari is currently writing adult novels, after winning the Jericho Writers Self-Edit Bursary 2024. Here is the social media post with this fab news.

As of June 2025, she is represented by Hannah Sheppard of HS Literary Agency.
