My heart aches for the people of Palestine,

Will justice be done in our lifetime?

Wide-eyed, watching news feeds

Out of our hands,

A nation killed, their homes a pile of sand,

Palestinians targeted by meticulous plan,

Let’s stand up, shout, do what we can,

For the ummah of the most beautiful man,

My feed is constant destruction,

No reason no rhyme,

My heart drumming with the question, why?

Why the aggression?

Why the oppression?

Why the biased media attention?

Are they not human?

Do they not have a voice?

Do they not have rights?

An open air prison?

Nowhere to run.

No chance to live,

This is genocide 😔

Allah promises in the Quran to reward their plight,

He is near, His help is here

Trials and tribulations for all one holds dear,

We will be tested with our wealth, our families, our children,

We know this life will never be without pain,

Without stress, or shame,

We know it is our duty to turn back to Him again and again.

Back to our Creator,

Back to our Maker,

Though surely their rank transcends the sky,

To Allah we implore with hands held high,

Please, Ya Rabbi, stop the pain,

Let them be free once again,

Ya Rabbi, save Palestine!

Save Palestine,
